We have never built a knife quite like this, and we love it! We built a full tang chef knife, then incorporated a crown-burr whitetail deer handle that slopes down towards the cutting edge. We used brass pins and epoxy to secure the antler to the blade tang. We ground in a pressure anti-slip thumb notch to the top spine of the blade that provides additional blade control and cutting pressure. In addition, we added small tight jeweling to the blade flat, and larger swirl jeweling to the blade grind.
