LIMITED EDITION FILLET & KITCHEN UTILITY KNIFE – FK6.5LE
We liked the first one so much, we decided to build a second multi-function Limited Edition full tang / crown burr piece, to complement our Limited-Edition all-purpose chef & camp model. We built a full tang fillet and/or kitchen utility chef knife (multi-purpose), then incorporated a crown-burr whitetail deer handle that slopes down toward the cutting edge. We used brass pins and epoxy to secure the antler to the blade tang. We ground in a pressure anti-slip thumb notch to the top spine of the blade that provides additional blade control and cutting pressure. In addition, we added small tight jeweling to the blade flat, and larger swirl jeweling to the blade grind.
This Limited-Edition Lifetime Fillet & Chef utility design looks as good as it performs. It’s an excellent design for filleting medium to large fish, (16 to 30”). In addition, an excellent kitchen utility knife. It has a stiffer blade than most fillet designs, and the length and size is perfect for the majority of food prep work. This Limited-Edition piece includes a display stand and a high-quality hand-made leather pouch sheath. Every unit is engraved “LIMITED EDITION”, and it includes a Limited Life Warranty.
