 This little beauty features a freehand hollow ground 2.25” D2 Steel Drop Clip Blade and built in full tang construction.  We applied anti-slip file work to the top blade spine, and we left the lightly textured mill-scale on the blade flat to provide additional grip for blade control.  The finished knife includes select shaped and polished Whitetail antler scales pinned through the tang to enhance balance and comfort.  The knife includes a high-quality leather pouch sheath that has vertical and horizontal belt carry option and includes an antler tip lanyard tie with the Vineyard Max logo engraved on the belt loop.

This is the perfect little precision caping and detailed cutting design.  The length and shape of the knife was designed so that the butt end of the knife rests comfortably in the palm of your hand, while your pointing finger rests on the top spine of the blade.  This allows the cutting edge to be directly under your extended pointing finger for precision cutting.  It’s hard to explain, but your finger and the blade edge become as one, and this eliminates the need to watch the edge cut, because if you know where you are guiding your finger, you know where you are cutting.
